Centre for Justice is a new adjudication service for public, business and government. The Centre adjudicates nearly all types of legal claim and dispute and is a modern, straightforward and effective alternative to the courts.
The Centre offers a user friendly approach and resolves all disputes at a fraction of the cost and in a fraction of the time of court action. It does this through the use of "modern arbitration" which also delivers better outcomes than can be achieved through the courts.
The service is run by a panel of leading London lawyers and is independent and not for profit.
The advantages of "modern arbitration":
Affordability - Your case will be investigated by a highly qualified senior lawyer or assessor. Your assessor will work directly with you to establish the facts and decide the case at a cost very much lower than that of going through the courts. There are no complex hearings or procedures. You do not need legal representation.
Speed - Your case will usually be resolved within one to three months.
Reliability - Your assessor will personally and fully investigate your case. He or she will deal directly with you, with your case and with the evidence. This secures you the right result and helps you avoid the risk and unpredictability of court action.
Mediation - Your assessor is also an accredited mediator and will ask you whether you would like to negotiate a solution not limited to the legal issues. This can give you the option of a more constructive solution to your problem, if you want this, and save you further time and cost.
Certainty - You will be guaranteed either a mediated agreement or an adjudicated award, ensuring you have a definite and legally binding outcome.
Involvement - You will know the cost and time your case will take from an early stage, and be given an early indication of the likely outcome, if you request this. You can ask your assessor to mediate at any time. This gives you control over cost, risk and outcome.
